The mischievous but nice sheep Shaun and his flock reside on Mossy Bottom Farm and get into all type of problem. He first appeared in the Wallace and Gromit film A Close Shave and was released as a spin off series and movie star with his own TV show in 2007– and has given that generated 5 TV series, a BAFTA award winning film and an entire heap of toys.

This series is a ripper family preferred with kids and adults alike– it’s simply that type of old fashioned home entertainment combining ridiculous slapstick, sight gags, smart character comedy and the sort of detail you just get from Aardman animations. There are some extremely moderate threatening scenarios (cars and truck goes after and characters in risk of falling from terrific heights) and even the occasional, extremely mild, love between the sheep– but it’s never anything that would fret parents or cause distress to more youthful children.

Featuring the best of the gang from the barnyard, including the Farmer and his sheepdog Bitzer, his cows Milky and Spotty, Pidsley the orange feline, and the naughty pigs Shirley and Timmy, these animated movies are a merry, woolly delight. Shaun the Sheep Movie is the 3rd function length movie in the series– it made a great success at package workplace with a worldwide gross of over $106.2 million.

We’ve got a few of the shaun the sheep toys in our playroom, and the Kidz definitely love them. First up is the soft and cuddly Baahing Shaun from Rainbow Designs that makes a range of noises by pushing in the middle of his stomach. It’s simple to activate, and both my boys (Con age 7 and Bex age 3) enjoy it!

The other is the Shaun and Friends PlayPress 81 piece pop out set which is made from durable and sustainable materials. It’s a really fascinating toy which motivates creative play and storytelling, and you can switch up the different parts of the playset for all sorts of fun experiences at Mossy Bottom Farm! It also helps develop construction, issue fixing and motor abilities. The set is available in a light-weight flat pack and is simple to take a trip with, making it perfect for travelling and vacations.
