The greater the length of the train body, the longer the trailing distance of the train wake, and the stronger of a surface noise source the tail car becomes. The spatial distribution characteristics of aerodynamic noise in the far field of high-speed trains do not change significantly with the length of the train body, but the magnitude of the sound pressure level will increase with the increase in length of the train body. The middle car body parts of high-speed trains with different marshalling numbers have similar noise distributions and sound pressure levels. Based on the noise calculation results of the 3-marshalling high-speed train, the far-field noise of the 5-marshalling and 8-marshalling train models is predicted and found to be in good agreement with the far-field noise of the actual train model. The differences in average sound pressure level are 1.01 dBA and 1.74 dBA, respectively.Chemical coagulants like alum, ferric salts, and polyacrylamide derivatives are helpful in water treatment. However, the long-term detrimental effects of chemical coagulants on humans and the environment require alternative research for natural coagulants. This study used novel leguminous (green beans (GB), pigeon pea (PP)), fruit seeds (Tamarind indica (TI), and date palm (DS)) as coagulants to remove turbidity. The seeds were powdered, and the crude active coagulants were extracted with distilled water and a 1 M NaCl solution. The result showed that PP’s distilled water extract had the highest turbidity removal of 81.12%, while DS had the least performance of 62.54%. The NaCl extract of PP had the highest removal (94.62%), followed by TI (76.08%). This study found the optimum doses for GB, TI, PP, and DS to be 50, 40, 10, and 70 mL/L, with their optimum pH at 3, 1, 3, and 1, respectively. The FTIR spectra confirmed the existence of -OH, -NH, COOH, C = O, C-C, and C-H peaks, indicating the presence of protein-specific functional groups supporting their potential use as coagulants. Therefore, PP would have been used based on turbidity performance; however, due to their nutritional value, TI and DS are suitable seeds for the coagulation-flocculation treatment of turbid water because they are waste materials.Analyzing the feasibility of fuel vehicle transition will be conducive to the realization of the carbon neutralization goal. However, at present, there are few studies specifically aimed at the transition of fuel vehicles. Therefore, this study first analyzed the necessity for the transition of fuel vehicles and then used CiteSpace to analyze 2081 articles in the core Web of Science database in the past decade with „fuel vehicle emission reduction” as the search keyword. After clarifying the research context and development frontier of fuel vehicle emission reduction, we found that most of the literature with the research theme on this topic ends with the research of electric vehicles. Therefore, we took new energy vehicles represented by electric vehicles as the starting point to explore the realization path of carbon neutralization by analyzing the development dilemma and residents’ feedback on electric vehicles. Finally, the research review and research prospects were carried out. The study found that although the development of new energy vehicles has made obvious progress at this stage, there are still some problems in comprehensively promoting electric vehicles, such as battery power, charging facilities, and the weak willingness of consumers to accept electric vehicles. Therefore, improving the usage efficiency of new energy vehicles can more effectively force fuel vehicles and new energy vehicles to complete the relay from the perspective of market attraction. This study will provide a more scientific solution and implementation path for the transition of fuel vehicles in various countries. This study was carried out to evaluate the contribution of different types of iron-organic matter associations (Fe-OM) to the phosphorus sorption capacity of peatland. Humic substance (HS) and particulate organic matter (POM) were isolated from peat soils, and different types of iron-organic matter associations (Fe-HS and Fe-POM) were prepared. Then, isothermal adsorption experiments were carried out on the synthesized Fe-OM and iron-contained peat soils. The morphology structure of Fe-HS associations is amorphous like that of ferrihydrite. The theoretical maximum adsorption capacity (Qmax) of Fe-HS associations can reach 36.90 mg/g, which is approximately two times higher than that of ferrihydrite (19.23 mg/g) and ten times higher than that of hematite (3.26 mg/g) and goethite (2.08 mg/g). Both peat soils and POM can strongly complex ferric ions, resulting in improved phosphorus sorption capacity. The Qmax of original peat soil and POM is 2.83 mg/g and 4.31 mg/g, which increased to 7.36 mg/g and 5.89 mg/g, respectively, after complexing ferric ions. Compared to inorganic Fe minerals, the associations of iron and organic matter (HS and POM) contribute more to the phosphorus retention ability of peat soils. However, the formation of Fe-OM associations could not fully explain why the addition of iron increases the phosphorus sorption capacity of peat soil by so much. Iron should also participate in other phosphorus retention processes, which need further exploration and research.Pyrethroid pesticides are of great environmental and health concern with regard to neurotoxicity and ubiquitous occurrence. Here, we reported a new bacterial strain identified as Bacillus cereus AKAD 3-1 that degraded 88.1% of 50 mg/l of cypermethrin in an aqueous medium. The biodegradation of cypermethrin was optimized by CCD (central composite design) and validated by ANN-GA (artificial neural network-genetic algorithm). Both the approaches proved to possess good performance in modeling and optimizing the growth conditions. Results indicated that the process variables have a significant ( less then  0.0001) impact on cypermethrin biodegradation. Moreover, the predicted CCD model had a „lack of fit p-value” of „0.9975.” The optimum CCD and ANN model had an R2 value of 0.9703 and 0.9907, indicating that the two models’ experimental and predicted values are closely fitted. The isolate successfully converted cypermethrin to CO2 and phenol without producing any toxic metabolite. Finally, a degradation pathway was proposed with the intermediate compounds identified by GC-MS. The present study highlights an important potential application of strain AKAD 3-1 for the in situ bioremediation of cypermethrin-contaminated environments.

Shift work including night work is a common work pattern worldwide and researchers have no consensus on the impact of shift work on thyroiddisorders. We aimed to conduct a meta-analysis to summarize the evidence from published studies to ascertain the impact of shift work on thyroid disorders.

Studies on the link between shift work and thyroid disorders published in Pubmed, Embase, Medline, and Cochrane databases by September 2021 were searched. Newcastle-Ottawa scale was used to assess the quality of included studies. The Mantel-Haenszel statistical method and the inverse-variance statistical method were used to evaluate the pooled results of dichotomous and continuous variables, respectively. Study heterogeneity analysis was performed using I

statistics. Sensitivity analysis was conducted by omitting one study each time and re-calculating the pooled results of the remaining studies.

Seven eligible studies were included in the systematic review and meta-analysis. The results showed that shift work would lead to an increase in TSH (SMD 0.30; 95%CI 0.05-0.55; P = 0.02; I

     = 64%) and FT4 (SMD 0.21; 95%CI 0.02-0.40; P = 0.03; I

= 0%). However, shift work had no clear effect on the risk of positive thyroid autoantibodies (OR 1.26; 95%CI 0.62-2.55; P = 0.52; I

     = 63%).

Shift work may be associated with abnormalTSH and FT4 levels. Thyroid health is affected in shift workers and it is advisable toremind patients to get good sleep the night before testing thyroid function.

Pulmonary cryptococcosis (PC) is an invasive pulmonary fungal disease, and nodule/mass-type PC may mimic lung cancer (LC) in imaging appearance. Thus, an accurate diagnosis of nodule/mass-type PC is beneficial for appropriate management. However, the differentiation of nodule/mass-type PC from LC through computed tomography (CT) is still challenging.

To develop and externally test a CT-based radiomics model for differentiating nodule/mass-type PC from LC.

In this retrospective study, patients with nodule/mass-type PC or LC who underwent non-enhanced chest CT were included Institution 1 was for the training set, and institutions 2 and 3 were for the external test set. Large quantities of radiomics features were extracted. The radiomics score (Rad-score) was calculated using the linear discriminant analysis, and a subsequent fivefold cross-validation was performed. A combined model was developed by incorporating Rad-score and clinical factors. Finally, the models were tested with an external test set and an effective tool for the differentiation of nodule/mass-type PC from LC in clinical practice.

The proposed combined model exhibits a good differential diagnostic performance between nodule/mass-type PC and LC. The CT-based radiomics analysis has the potential to serve as an effective tool for the differentiation of nodule/mass-type PC from LC in clinical practice.

This study aims to understand the context of place associated with smoking in urban Hamilton parks from a Te Ao Māori perspective (the worldview of Māori, the Indigenous people of Aotearoa New Zealand).

Our study approached smokefree environments in Hamilton through a Māori lens, undertaking interviews with family groups and people from organisations involved in the local Smokefree environments policy.

The majority of the 26 adult participants identified as Māori, with 30% being current smokers. Parks had a place in the sporting memories of participants. Smoking was merged with these memories. Important features of places that influenced smoking behaviours were raised, with signage a key talking point.

The colonial construct of parks do not make visible Māori values and historical associations with the land, nor do they set a framework that would promote Māori ways of being and doing, including enacting smokefree spaces and places.

This study provides the incentive to address change in parks and reserve management that would support Māori aspirations for their health and wellbeing associated with ancestral land, and give meaning to smokefree environments.

The most common location of the defect is the mandibular molar area at the lingual side of the mandible, below the mandibular canal. Additionally other rarer variants of SBC, anterior lingual, buccal aspect of ascending ramus, and lingual aspect of ascending ramus are also reported. In this paper, a rare case of posterior and anterior variant of double SBCs with buccal cortical bone perforation was presented. An 83-year-old male patient was referred to our clinic for a routine dental examination. Panoramic examination presented two well-defined radiolucent areas. One was located at the right posterior region of the mandible, below the inferior alveolar canal and the second in the region of right canine-premolar area, anterior of the mental foramen. Cone beam computed tomography also confirmed the defects. Magnetic resonance imaging of patient showed that posterior variant was filled with part of submandibular gland and anterior variant was filled with part of sublingual gland.
