    In recent years, several papers have shown the utility of using CCT-derived PCAT attenuation as a surrogate measure of coronary inflammation. This noninvasive imaging biomarker may potentially be used to monitor patient responses to new antinflammatory drugs for the treatment of CAD.

    We assessed the impact of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic on specific Eating Disorder (ED) and general psychopathology in people with an ED diagnosis during the lockdown period and after the end of the related containment measures.

    People with clinically defined diagnosis and undergoing treatment for an ED completed an online survey, which included adapted questions from standardized psychometric scales. Data relative to three different time periods (before, during and after the end of lockdown) were collected. Psychopathological changes over these periods were investigated and compared through one-way analysis of variance or covariance with repeated measures.

    Three hundred twelve people completed the survey (57.4% diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa (AN) or atypical AN, 20.2% with Bulimia Nervosa, 15.4% with Binge Eating Disorder, 7.05% with Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorders). The severity of both specific and general psychopathology increased during the lockdown and the rise of general symptoms persisted in the following re-opening phase, except for suicide ideation. Almost all of these findings were not affected by ED diagnosis, participants’ age and illness duration.

    The retrospective nature of data collection is the main limitation of the study.

    Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) are associated with increased suicidal behaviors in adolescents and most research has been restricted to certain types of or cumulative exposure to ACEs. Few studies have examined the association between patterns of ACEs and suicidal behaviors.

    To identify the contributions of type and pattern of exposure to ACEs to suicidal behaviors and their gender differences among middle school students in China.

    A school-based health survey was conducted in four provinces in China between 2017 and 2018. 14 500 students aged 10-20 years completed standard questionnaires, to record details of ACEs, suicide ideation, suicide plan, and suicide attempt.

    Latent class analysis indicated four distinct patterns of ACEs exposure high ACEs (6.3%), high abuse and neglect (21.4%), high neglect (45.5%), and low ACEs (26.8%). Logistic analyses showed that, compared with low ACEs, the high ACEs were more likely to report suicidal behaviors. No gender differences were found in the independent effects of ACEs type or pattern on suicidal behaviors, except for the emotional neglect associated with suicidal behaviors in girls than boys.

    The study was cross-sectional and used self-reported questionnaires. Thus, it is difficult to establish a causal relationship between patterns of ACEs and suicidal behaviors.

    Suicidal behaviors can result from a complex interaction between social stressors and individual vulnerability. Evidence suggests a specific neural processing of social cues in suicide attempters without knowledge of how it relates to real-world experiences.

    To investigate the association between brain activity during experimental social exclusion (measured by functional MRI) and psychological pain in daily life (assessed by Ecological Momentary Assessment) in patients with a lifetime history of suicide attempt.

    Thirty-three euthymic females with a history of a major depressive episode were recruited 13 suicide attempters and 20 affective controls (no history of suicide attempt). Functional MRI scans were acquired while participants played the Cyberball game, a validated social exclusion paradigm. After fMRI, participants completed EMA for a one-week period. Five times per day, they were asked to rate their psychological pain, hopelessness and the negativity of daily events. EMA indices (psychological pain, hopelessness and their interaction with negative events) were correlated with cerebral activations using a ROI approach (orbitofrontal, dorsal and ventrolateral prefrontal cortices, anterior cingulate cortex and insula) in each group.

    We found a negative correlation between daily ratings of psychological pain and orbitofrontal activation for exclusion versus inclusion during the Cyberball game in suicide attempters but not in affective controls. We did not find correlations between cerebral activation and daily hopelessness ratings.

    To examine the association of the anaesthesia to ECT stimulus TI (anaesthesia-ECT TI) with efficacy and cognitive outcomes after ECT treatment.

    Retrospective cohort study of 690 patients who received ECT from July 2017 till December 2019. Generalized linear regression was utilized to analyse the association of mean anaesthesia-ECT TI (from session 2 to session 6 ECT treatment) with Clinical Global Impression-Severityscale(CGI-S) scores and Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) score after 6 ECT treatments, and with EEG quality during the treatments (post ictal suppression scores).

    The averaged TI was 106.6±20.2 (mean±SD) seconds. There was significant improvement of overall CGI-S score after ECT treatment (3.3±1.0) vs pre-ECT treatment (5.0±0.8, p<0.001) while there was no significant change of MoCA score over the course of 6 ECT (p>0.05). The anaesthesia-ECT TI had no association with post-ECT CGI-S while longer anaesthesia-ECT TI was associated with poorer post-ECT MoCA scores [adjusted β, -0.056retrospective analysis of clinical data from a real-world treatment setting. A controlled study would provide greater potential to fully explore the association between TI and clinical outcomes.Confronted with microwave pollution issues, there is an urgent need for microwave absorption materials that possess optimal combinations of dielectric loss and magnetic loss properties. While a variety of studies focus on the components, the construction of nanostructure is rarely studied, which is of equivalent significance to microwave absorber design. In this work, Co-ZIF-67 was adopted as self-template to grow N-doped graphene/carbon nanotube interlinked conductive networks in-situ under a one-step carbonization process with tailored microwave absorption properties. Diverse microwave absorption performance could be achieved by directly adjusting the proportions among ingredients and the calcination temperature, obtaining a maximum value of reflection loss of -65.45 dB at 17.5 GHz with a sample thickness of just 1.5 mm. The effective absorption bandwidth could be tailored from 3.75 to 18 GHz among different thickness as required. The nanostructures had an apparent impact on the corresponding microwave absorption performance, in which the N-doped carbon-based conductive networks, ferromagnetic cobalt atoms, and interfaces among heterostructure strengthened the dipolar polarization and conductivity loss, magnetic loss, and interfacial polarization, respectively. This synthesis strategy offers a promising pathway for integrating nanostructures and functions, catering to requirements for designing and optimizing prospective microwave absorbers.Here we present the first cytogentic study concerning Deinopidae and their controversial phylogenetic position. This study karyologically analyzed one population of Deinopis biaculeata Simon, 1906 and five populations of Deinopis plurituberculata Mello-Leitão, 1925. The majority of specimens of D. plurituberculata exhibited 2n♂ = 40 and 2n♀ = 44 telocentric chromosomes (however some of them showed B chromosomes, belongs to Aquidauana and Botucatu population). The Deinopis biaculeata and D. plurituberculata meiosis of males showed 18 autosomal bivalents + X1X2X3X4, n = 22 and n = 18, a rare sex chromosome system (SCS) in spiders. Some individuals of D. plurituberculata from the Campo Grande population exhibited 2n♂ = 39 and 2n♀ = 43, with a metacentric chromosome (heterozygotes for centric fusion). This study investigated the formation of nitro(so) and chlorinated products and toxicity alteration during the UV/NH2Cl treatment of phenol. RNS and/or RCS induced the formation of nitro(so), chlorinated and polymeric compounds during phenol transformation by UV/NH2Cl. These compounds dramatically increased the cytotoxicity to Chinese hamster ovary cells after 20 min UV/NH2Cl treatment, which was 10 times higher than that after 24 h chloramination. The increase of cytotoxicity in UV/NH2Cl was primarily attributable to 4-nitrosophenol, and the cytotoxicity followed the order of 4-nitrosophenol >> 4-nitrophenol > 2,4,6-trichlorophenol > 2,4-dichlorophenol > phenol. 4-Nitrosophenol was significantly generated by the combination of •NO and phenoxy radical, wherted products.The UV/monochloramine (NH2Cl) process is an advanced oxidation process that can effectively remove emerging contaminants (ECs). However, the degradation mechanisms of reactive radicals with ECs are not clear. In this work, we combined theoretical calculations with experimental studies to investigate the kinetics and mechanism of radical-mediated degradation of paracetamol (AAP) in UV/NH2Cl process. The degradation of AAP in UV/NH2Cl process accords with the pseudo first-order kinetics. Impact factors including NH2Cl dose, pH, natural organic matter, HCO3-, and NO3- were evaluated. The reaction mechanisms of AAP with hydroxyl radical (HO·), reactive chlorine species (RCS), and reactive nitrogen species (RNS) were discussed in detail. Specifically, HO· attacked AAP mainly through hydrogen atom transfer (HAT) and radical adduct formation (RAF), while Cl2·- play a certain role through single electron transfer (SET). ·NH2 and Cl· destructed AAP mainly through HAT. Based on the mechanism analysis, the second-order rate constants of AAP reacts with HO·, Cl·, ·NH2, ClO·, Cl2·- and ·NO2 were calculated through transition state theory as 2.
