When SO2 concentration was 500 and 2000 ppmV, the addition of 0.1 wt.% HQ and 1 wt.% ST decreased the percentage of S(IV) oxidized by oxygen by over 30% and 40%, respectively. Alkali (Na2CO3) alleviated the competitive absorption between NOx and SO2. Moreover, Na2CO3 exhibited an enhancement effect on the absorption of NOx and SO2 when coupled with anti-oxidants. While the increase of oxygen pressure accelerated the oxidation of S(IV), the anti-oxidants can retard the oxidation. The measurement of pH suggested the removal efficiency of NOx highly depended on SO32⁻ concentration rather than pH. The further investigation of the mechanism suggested the match effect was related to the interaction between ST and the intermediate product of HQ.     The management of liver hydatid cysts (LHC) is complex and includes surgery, percutaneous drainage, chemotherapy and observation. Broadly, there are two types of surgical treatment for LHC – conservative surgery (CS) and radical surgery (RS). The purpose of this study was to compare the outcome of RS and CS.

    Data from all patients with LHC treated in Sahloul Hospital, between January 2000 and December 2019, were retrieved. To minimize selection bias, paired comparison analysis (PCA) was performed.

    A total of 914 patients were included in this study. RS and CS were performed in 284 and 630 patients, respectively. After PCA, 206 patients were included in each group. The incidence of intraoperative bleeding was significantly higher in the RS group. The overall morbidity was significantly lower in the RS group. Thity-four patients developed recurrence with significantly higher recurrence in CS group.

    RS is associated with fewer postoperative complications and lower recurrence rate compared to CS. RS may be the preferred procedure for LHC if the expertise is available.

    To evaluate the toxicological safety of Wen Radix Codonopsis.

    According to the national standards of food safety(GB 15193.3-2014, GB 15193.4-2014, GB 15193.5-2014, GB 15193.8-2014, GB 15193.13-2015), acute oral toxicity test, three genetic toxicity tests(including bacterial recovery mutation test, mammalian erythrocyte micronucleus test and mouse spermatocyte chromosome aberration test) and subchronic toxicity test were conducted in this study.

    The LD_(50) of Wen Radix Codonopsis to KM mouse was more than 38.72 g/kg, which was actually non-toxic according to the acute toxicity grading standard of mouse. The results of three genetic toxicity tests were negative and no obvious genotoxicity was observed. 90-day oral toxicity test showed that the overall growth condition of the rats in each group was good, and the test index result of each test group showed no statistical significance compared with the negative control group, and all of them were within the normal range in our laboratory. No abnormality was observed in gross anatomy, and no histopathological changes and specific lesions associated with the test substances were found.

    To investigate the effect of trending up-regulation LncRNA CASC11 which is differentially expressed during the malignant transformation of human bronchial epithelial cells(16 HBE) induced by glycidyl methacrylate(GMA).

    After 16 HBE cells were repeatedly exposed to low concentration GMA(8 μg/mL), the 10 th, 20 th and 30 th passage cells of the GMA group and the DMSO solvent control group were collected. High throughput LncRNA microarray were used to screen the differentially expressed LncRNAs at different stages. Short Time-series Expression Miner and bioinformatics tool RPISeq were used to screen and predict the potential targets of specific LncRNA. Real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR(qPCR) and Western blot were used to detect the relative expression of specific LncRNA and the content of its target protein respectively.

    The specific differential expression of LncRNA CASC11 in the process of GMA-induced malignant transformation of 16 HBE cells showed a trend of up-regulation. Compared with the control cells in the same period, the P10, P20 and P30 generation cells were down-regulated by 1.64 times, up-regulated by 2.01 times, and up-regulated by 2.66 times, respectively. Western blot showed that the levels of cyclin-dependent kinase 1(CDK1), cyclinB1 and cyclinB2 in P10, P20 and P30 cells after exposure were lower than those in DMSO control group during the same period, which was consistent with the microarray results.

    To investigate the expression of key genes and proteins of retinoic acid signaling pathway in procymidone-induced uterine injury in adolescent mice, and analyze the relationship between the signaling pathway and female reproductive damage.

    The 3-week age ICR mice were randomly divided into low, medium, and high-dose groups and one control group with 8 mice in each group by weight. The low, medium and high dose groups were respectively given 50, 100 and 200 mg/(kg·d) procymidone orally for 21 days continuously, while the control group was given equal volume of soybean oil. After the mice were sacrificed, the uterus was taken from both sides for observing the histological changes in the cross-sectional slices of the uterus, the detection of the expression abundance of genes which related to the retinoic acid signaling pathway by the real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR, and the measurement of ALDH2 and CYP26 a1 proteins expression by Western blot.

    To establish a liquid-liquid extraction and gas chromatography method for the determination of 7 kinds of haloacetaldehydes, 7 kinds of haloacetonitriles, 7 kinds of halonitromethanes and 4 kinds of haloacetamides in drinking water.

    A liquid-liquid extraction gas chromatography technique was employed. Experimental parameters, such as capillary column type, inlet temperature, concentration of salting out reagent and sample pH were optimized to develop an analytical method, and then method validation was conducted.

    HP-5 MS UI column(30 m×0.25 mm, 0.25 μm), inlet temperature at 180 ℃, addition of 8 g sodium chloride in 50 mL water sample and pH 4-5 were chosen as the final parameters. Good correlation coefficients were obtained in the linear range of 0.20-15 μg/L, with r greater than 0.999.Methods detection limits were between 0.008-0.088 μg/L. When spiked concentration was 1.0 μg/L for pure water and tap water, the recoveries were 81%-106% and 75%-117%, respectively, and relative standard deviations were both less than 4%.
